'双' translates to pair, and the character is made up of two of the same characters '又' side by side. This painting depicts Justin Lin and I arm wrestling in my bedroom. I met Justin for the first time at CMU and I found it really odd yet fascinating how many similarities we had; we both grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, went to the same art studio at some point in time, and currently study computer science. These similarities are highlighted by the playfully symmetrical composition and matching outfits and hairstyles.
